Bayonette Scabbard (brass throat,hook & tip)

This  is a triangular leather bayonet scabbard of the 1805-15 period.
Made from hardened  oak-tanned leather,  with sheet brass throat and chape,  riveted to  the body.

The bayonet socket faces  outward (unlike earlier period ones) with a single front stud for fixing into  the bayonete belt.

(These are made to  order as each  bayonet has subtle differences for length and shape)
