Military Metalwork is a small company, dedicated
to producing some of the best reproductions of historical metalwork
and textile crafts.
Started in 1993, Andrew Clark, has over 20 years experience within
the re-enactment, film and museum world. Though extensive reasearch
and close collaboration with it's customer, Military Metalwork
has endevoured to match it's own exacting standads of production
to the demands of the customer.
Trained in Jewellery making and
restoration work, since leaving college, Andrew has made Military
Metalwork into a leading supplier of items to the discerning
client.
We aim, though constant examination of techniques and methodology,
to finely balance the skills of the past with the limitations of
todays materials and manufacturing. Discovering many of the lost
crafts and skills used by skilled craftsmen, we hope to keep alive
some of the glory of a time when workmanship was valued as an art.
