Worn from 1829 to 1844 this is the O/r Bell-Top Shako

Blocked felt with sunken glazed leather top with side strips, lower band and peak. Leather sweatband with linen adjuster. This hat is 6 1/2"" high by 11" in diameter. Fully hand stitched throughout.

The hat comes complete with brass chinscales, side bosses, woolen round pom with brass tubular socket. All it needs is a regimental plate to complete.
