Late Pattern Tarleton Officers

The later, taller style  of the famour 'Tarleton' helmet.

Worn by light cavalry up to  1812 and yeomanry units till  the 1830's

Blocked leather skull,  hand lacquered, with 'duck bill' peak.  Leather sweatband with silk adjuster.

Velvet  or silk pleated turban,  with rear pad and bullion fringe tassels and a stuffed graduated crest  of black  bear skin.

Brass side reinforcements, peak edging, side chains and regimental legend bars above the peak.  Available  in gilt or silver plated  finish.

Regimental  side badges in gilt  or silver  available to  commision.
