How to Order

Online Ordering

Military Metalwork makes almost all of it's products in-house, hence we do not keep a large stock of many items and they have to be made when requested. Most often a product will be made to a specific design or consideration.

All items showing 'Buy Now' buttons are available from stock for immediate delivery by clicking the 'Buy Now' button and placing it in your shopping cart.
When you have finished shopping, click the 'Checkout' button to confirm your order, select postage preference and enter your details.

If you prefer not to order online, you can contact me by phone,mail or email to discuss details.

Payment

You can pay for your order using PayPal, or if in the UK, by cheque or Postal Order.

If paying by PayPal, chose Paypal as your payment option during the chechout procedure and you will be taken to the PayPal site for payment. You can now use PayPal for paying with credit cards even if you do not currently have a PayPal account.
All payment processing takes place on PayPals own servers and we have no access to your payment details.

If paying by cheque/Postal Order, please select Cheque/Postal Order as your payment method during the checkout steps.
Please make all payments payable to Military Metalwork and can be sent to the address on the left hand side-bar.
Please rember to enclose an email address or telephone number and a note of what you are ordering.

Delivery

Once payment has been recieved your order will be posted - usually within 3-7 days. Postage will be by Royal Mail to the chosen service and you will receive an email notifying you it has been sent.
Items requiring plating may take and extra 3-7 days depending on how busy we are and whether how soon a plating run occurs

You should you receive your item within 2-3 days of posting, but if after 5 days your have received nothing you should notify me. Oversease customers may take a little longer.

Returns

If for any reason you are unhappy with your goods you can return it within 14 days. As long as the item is in a saleable condition, I will refund the full cost, including postage. Please note that the return postage is at your expense and that no responsibility can be taken for its safe arrival.

In the unlikely event your are returning the item because of a fault I will refund the cost of the return postage.

Cut length materials, such as lace or braid are non-refundable unless fault exists in the material. Custamers are advised to make sure of their requirements before ordering.

'Made to Order' items not in the standard product range are considered 'bespoke commisions' and are non-refundable. Cancelled commision deposits are non-refundable in the event of cancellation.

Make to Order

Items showing 'Out of Stock' are available to order, but will require some lead time to produce.

To ordering an 'Out of Stock' product or commision a new item, please contact us by telephone, mail or email to discuss your exact requirements, price and available lead time.

Upon reciept of a deposit payment, Made-to-Order items will be placed into the production schedule and delivered in due course.

Because of a heavy workload there will always be some delay between accepting an order and being able to start work. Therefore you should allow at least 12 weeks (preferably longer) for delivery

Currently our order book for new commisions is filled untill October 2010, which is the earliest start date available for new works.
Consequently we will not be taking on new work untill late summer to clear this current work load.

Given this timescale, a 25% deposit is taken with each order as confirmation and secures a timeslot in the order book. Overseas customers will require a 50% deposit.

On completion images of the item will be sent to the client and upon reciept of the outstanding balance the order will be despatched by recorded or registered mail.

Customer Data

Military Metalwork only holds customer data for the purposes of normal business activity. Customers data for mailing purposes is discretionary and only at the customers request. Military Metalwork will not divulge customer data to any third parties.
Customers wishing to inspect data held, adjustment or removal of data should contact Military Metalwork in writing.
